#14 Footed Bowl in Indigo with Yellow Ring

This large footed bowl would be a dramatic addition to any collection. The rim is ringed in bright yellow slip and the surface with indigo slip creating a rustic mottled surface. The outside is also carved with parallel lines from the rim down to the foot. After bisque firing Akio applies colored slips and then glazes the pieces with translucent matte glaze. Beautiful to see and incredible to hold.
